Isaac Chernotsky, Executive Director
Not often is a person given an opportunity to “return home”. In May of 1982, I started my career in senior living as the assistant administrator and manager at Garden of Palms. I was the director here for eighteen fulfilling years. Over the next sixteen years I had the privilege of being the Executive Director of three large communities where I was involved in every aspect of operations. In addition, I was a consultant to many communities assisting with licensing compliance and as an instructor to new and existing executive directors. My college studies were focused on psychology as I worked and volunteered in various community based programs providing support to troubled youth and their families. It was this experience, along with the example set by my parents on how to honor and care for my grandparents, that inspired and prepared me for my path in life. It’s very exciting to be back at Garden of Palms. I’m looking forward to working closely with the Garden of Palms family.
